Lloyd Noble Center

april 2002 | higher education | norman, ok

In association with Ellerbe Becket of Kansas City, Architects In Partnership provided construction documents and construction observation services for the expansion and roof replacement of the Lloyd Noble Center. New locker room facilities, coaches’ offices, strength training, sports medicine, and practice courts for the Men’s and Women’s teams were provided in the new addition. Concessions, a novelty store, restrooms, storage, and a banquet hall were also incorporated into the design.

The success of the project resulted from our team’s ability to achieve design solutions quickly. AIP worked closely with the Athletic Department Staff to manage the project so that it could be constructed within the fixed schedule of the University’s basketball team.
