AIP was hired by Tuttle Public Schools to design and promote projects for their 2009 Bond Issue. Included in this bond issue was the design and construction of the district’s new administration building. Growth in the district and changes to public education in Oklahoma had created the need for additional space.
The 4,300 square foot building is located on state highway 37, the main thoroughfare through the city of Tuttle. This prominent location was selected to create a more visible representation of the importance that the community has placed on their school system.
The entry of the new building is framed by a curved wall, welcoming the public into a spacious lobby that features a vaulted ceiling. The vaulted ceiling continues into the board room, where the latest technology is used to aid proceedings. In addition, the facility contains a secondary conference room, break room, restroom and a fireproof records storage. The new Tuttle Public Schools Administration Building was designed to accommodate future expansion and it will continue to efficiently serve the district for many years to come.
