Norman Public Schools

AUGUST 2012  |  NORMAN, OK

AIP was selected to design multiple classroom additions for the Norman Public School District. The projects were on various sites, but were issued in one bid package to capture additional savings. The 8,500sf addition to Eisenhower Elementary addressed the early childhood needs of the school, creating a separate wing and pick-up/drop-off area for the students.

Monroe Elementary is a 9,100 sf classroom addition and cafeteria expansion, lighting and finishes were also upgraded throughout the building. The 9,900 sf addition to Adams Elementary added new classrooms, as well as a much needed secure lobby for public entry. The solutions for each school not only met the program needs of the district, but were careful to maintain the integrity of the existing buildings.
