Architects In Partnership was retained by McIntosh County Officials to design their new Criminal Justice Center located in Eufaula, Oklahoma. The approximately 32,000 square foot facility will include a 143-bed detention center. Also incorporated in the program is an inmate booking area, medical exam rooms, and a juvenile detention area. The administration area contains a large conference/briefing room, secure evidence/records storage rooms and staff offices. The Sheriff’s office was included in the final project which brought the total bid to approximately $6.9 million. The Sheriff’s Office phase of the project provides space for not only the McIntosh County Sheriff, but also the Creek Nation “Lighthorse”, and juvenile and probation offices.
