Architects In Partnership was selected through a design competition to provide a new Flight Simulator Facility for L-3 Communications. The new facility houses two complete flight simulators and another dedicated to the Air Force E3A Aircraft. The building requirements included two-story high bays for the simulators, an adjacent 2,000 square foot computer operations area, engineering and support services, and a computer maintenance shop. The two-story facility also contains instructors’ offices, support areas, and classrooms for training the pilots and flight crews.
