Project Architect

Job Description

OVERVIEW
Architects in Partnership is looking for a Project Architect with a professional degree (Bachelors or Masters of Architecture) 5-10 year of experience desired. This position will offer the candidate opportunities to grow within the firm. Individual will manage the production process of a project, coordinate consultant documents, run client meetings and help produce construction documents on commercial and educational projects throughout the state. Candidates should be self-motivated, team players with analytical problem solving abilities. Additional responsibilities will include managing a team of staff and daily interaction with the firm’s principals, and directors and mentor junior staff. Proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop is required. Proficiency in Revit is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership and direction for design team, coordinating all staff to meeting goals, objectives and schedule.

  • Manage and review the performance of the design team.

  • Supervise and trains other staff regarding design related document standards.

  • Production of construction drawings.

  • Review of shop drawings, product data, and samples.

  • Coordination of consultant documents and drawings.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited University.

  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.

  • Proficiency in Adobe products.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR

Job Description

OVERVIEW
Architects in Partnership is seeking a Construction Administrator that will work with the project team during the construction phase of projects and will take the lead with respect to construction related issues and tasks including job-site visits and meeting, facilitating and reviewing construction related paperwork such as shop drawings and submittals, requests for information (RFIs), supplemental instructions, change orders, pay application review, punch list reviews, and project closeout documentation. The highly qualified candidate we seek is a bright, organized, solutions-oriented leader who can function proactively with drive and persistence. Candidates must exhibit professionalism; the ability to successfully influence multiple issues at one time; credibility; a sense of ownership; facilitation & negotiation skills; and a strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally with many different constituents. The right individual will be assertive with a pleasant and professional manner and will be able to demonstrate a proven success in positions that required increasing responsibility & growth.

CANDIDATES MUST DEMONSTRATE:

  • Minimum of five years of field experience in; construction project management and/or engineering for projects in range of $1 – 25 million.

  • Architecture degree is a plus

  • Prefer candidate to have; experience in public and private sector based educational and/or commercial projects.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe or BlueBeam are required. Regular travel to projects sites is required.

  • Flexible, self-motivated and team-oriented.

  • Attention to detail and ability to focus on task assignments to meet production goals.
